Renato Sgarbi is a Brazillian tattoo artist, living and working in Ireland for over 5 years.

He specialisis in geek culture tattoos, from anime and comics, to video games and pop culture.

He has a strong focus on colour work, while also offering black & grey designs.

He has significant experience working on a range of styles, including fine line, neo-traditional, old school, watercolor, and delicate floral pieces.

My Tattoo Styles

Anime tattoos

I have been obsessed with anime since I was young. I love doing tattoos from a range of animes such as Attack on Titan, Dragonball, One Piece, Naruto, Pokemon, Yugiyo, Demon Slayer, Death Note, JuJutsu Kaizen, Hunter x Hunter, Solo Levelling and many others

Comics and cartoon tattoos

Love doing a solid tattoo with characters from cartoons and comics such as Wolverine, Batman, Superman, Spiderman, Hulk and many of the other DC and Marvel Universes. Also love designing from the Simpsons, Avatar,  Spongebob, Looney Toones and Ninja Turtles.

Disney tattoos

Disney always holds a special place in my heart. Always a joy to tattoo characters from the Disney classics such as Aladin, Lion King, Shrek, The Disney Princesses, Lilo & Stitch, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofey, Mulan etc.

Geek / Videogame tattoos

I am a big gamer. It’s great fun getting to put some characters from my favourite video games onto skin. Love doing tattoos from games such as God of War, Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Minecraft and League of Legends Arcane. Also had great fun tattooing  consoles and old gameboys recently.

Pop-culture tattoos

Are you a movie and TV shows fanatic too? Always good craic doing a badass Star Wars tattoo, or working with characters such as Beetlejuice, Rocky Balboa and Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings and Star Trek tattoos always go down a treat too. I have also worked on bespoke designs, putting your favourite pet or a family member into a unique design

Black & Grey tattoos

Go bold, tribal, delicate or fine line. Black & Grey tattoos can really make a statement, or they can be a subtle  understated piece. I love adding depth and dimension to your tattoos, building on gorgeous shading and a lifelike effect. I am well experienced in various styles and shading techniques, and will make sure your black and grey tattoo will be a unique and beautiful piece.

Delicate Floral tattoos

I love nature, and have a gorgeous garden of flowers myself. I take great inspiration from the natural world, designing stunning floral pieces with deep meaning and symbolism. Go bold and bright, or delicate and subtle. Whether you are looking for a fine line black and grey floral piece, or a colourful bouquet – I can work with you to design something beautiful to your own tastes.

You can book a free 30 minute design consultation with Renato in the studio in Arklow, Co. Wicklow / Dublin / his guest location.

Use this session to explain your idea, discuss possible locations for your new tattoo and get measured up. Renato can then share some initial visions and design ideas within the appointment. 

After the appointment, Renato will then touch base with you to discuss quotations, deposit, schedules and get to work on the final design.
