Don’t give up something this New Year.
START something! And make sure to START SMART.
Several of our 10 habits are linked to improved gut symptoms such as constipation and bloating. They are also linked to healthier gut microbiomes.
Heart health and healthy diets go hand in hand. Several of the habits are shown through research to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and reduce cholesterol levels.
We know that the right mindset is half the battle when building healthy habits. And we also know that our mindset around food can hugely impact our food choices and our relationship with food.
Various foods and dietary patterns are effective in reducing the underlying inflammatory processes of chronic disease. Several of the habits in this course also form key components of anti-inflammatory diet recommendations.
While most of us chose to “give up” something to get healthier, research shows that we are far more likely to maintain a change if we “START” a healthier habit. Positive mindset is key here. And the research is out – Wording really DOES make a difference. So join me in STARTING 10 new habits, and notice how much easier it is to maintain these changes!
Are you sick of trying another fad diet, with strict rules of what not to eat and what not to do? Are you keen to start building a healthy diet and lifestyle based on evidence and facts? Are you looking for support from a registered dietetic professional and from a group of like-minded people? Then this course if for you!
You will get a chance to start 10 habits over 5 weeks! You will receive 2 live seminars with a registered dietitian, 10 videos explaining each habit, access to a closed online community where we will share more content and support and a live group question and answer session with your dietitian.
Yes and No. This course is focussed on building diet and lifestyle habits that are known, through research, to promote health and wellbeing. These habits are used successfully for weight-loss, but have also been linked to reduced risks of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and certain types of cancer. They will also aim to help you build a healthier relationship with food and improve gut health!
Busy schedules, competing priorities and now social distancing…
No standard nutrition plan or diet has worked because it did not appreciate the value of STARTING a new habit rather than adding even more restrictions to our diet and lifestyle.
Didi is a registered dietitian based in Ireland with over 5 years experience in helping people reach their own personal nutrition goals. She continues to work as a senior dietitian in a large acute Dublin Hospital, and has run private dietitian clinics across Ireland – and now online! She knows first-hand the struggles people face when trying to “give-up” another life-long habit.
Together, we will ignore those messages of what to “give-up” this New Year.
Dietitians use the most up-to-date public health and scientific research on food, health and disease. They translate this information into practical guidance to enable people to make appropriate lifestyle and food choices.
Registered dietitians are the only qualified healthcare professionals that assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems at an individual and wider public health level. They work with both healthy and sick people.
To help us get into the right mindset, you will be asked to complete a pre-course workbook.
You will be invited to join Didi in 2 live online seminars where you will be able to learn more detail about the programme and ask questions!
We know how valuable the support of a group can be! You will be invited to join a closed social group where more content is shared!
There are 12 bespoke videos included in your programme, with content not available outside of this course!
